Before any facial aesthetic treatment, we see you in the practice for a full consultation appointment. We ask you what you would like to improve about your skin and discuss what will happen during the anti-wrinkle procedure in order to achieve your ideal results. At the end of this appointment, we obtain your informed consent to continue with the treatment.
On the day of your anti-wrinkle treatment, we ensure you are feeling comfortable and at ease in the chair before beginning. We gently administer the anti-wrinkle injections into carefully planned areas of your face, making sure the correct muscles are targeted to rejuvenate your face and enhance your natural beauty.
You may be able to see some improvements from your anti-wrinkle treatment straight away, with your full results visible one to two weeks after treatment.
Aesthetic treatments include dermal filler treatments and muscle relaxation injections. Dermal fillers can be used to provide volume and contour to the face and can be used to rejuvenate or beautify. Muscle relaxation injections are commonly known by many as the brand name Botox. These work by causing relaxation of the muscles into which they are injected into. In the facial muscles, their relaxation results in smoothening the appearance of wrinkles and helps prevent further wrinkle formation. In the armpits, it can be used to prevent excessive sweating, otherwise known as hyperhidrosis. In the jaw muscles, it can be used to provide relief of facial pain from excessive grinding or clenching of the teeth.

How long your results will last largely depends on your individual case, and the way your skin reacts to the treatment. On average, your results will last around 3-4 months, and can be maintained with regular top up treatments.
Anti-wrinkle injections use a very fine needle and are not painful, although you may feel some discomfort as they are being placed into your skin. Our clinicians use a numbing cream for all patients to ensure maximum comfort. If you are feeling nervous, please tell us so we can help you feel more ready for treatment. We also make sure you are feeling relaxed and comfortable before beginning.
