How does Spark Aligner treatment work?

Your free consultation: Meet Sandra or Donya for a digital scan of your teeth. You’ll even get to see a 3D preview of what your new smile could look like!

Custom fabrication: Based on your digital model, a series of bespoke Spark Aligners is created just for you.

The transformation: You will wear each set of aligners for about 1–2 weeks (for at least 22 hours a day), removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

Progress checks: You’ll visit us at designated points during your treatment so Sandra or Donya can monitor your progress and ensure your treatment is on track.

Reveal your smile: Once you’ve worn your final set, we’ll provide you with a retainer to ensure your beautiful new smile stays perfectly in place.

How often do I need to wear my Spark Aligners each day?

For the best and fastest results, you should aim to wear your aligners for 22 hours a day. They should only be removed for eating, drinking anything other than water, and your morning and evening brushing routine. Because they are virtually invisible, most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them!

Will I need to visit the dentist regularly during treatment?

Yes, we’ll want to see you intermittently through your treatment. These short appointments with Sandra or Donya are essential to ensure your teeth are moving exactly as planned, so your transformation stays right on track.

Is the treatment comfortable to wear?

Spark Aligners are designed with comfort in mind. They are made from TruGEN™ material, which features polished, scalloped edges that follow your natural gum line. While you might feel a slight pressure for a day or two when you start a new set of trays, which is a great sign that your teeth are moving, they are generally much more comfortable than traditional braces.

Can I continue my normal oral hygiene routine?

Yes, and this is one of the biggest perks of Spark. Because the aligners are completely removable, you can brush and floss exactly as you usually do. There are no brackets or wires to navigate, making it easy to keep your teeth and gums healthy and sparkling throughout your treatment.

Will Spark Aligners affect my speech?

Like anything new in your mouth, there may be a very brief adjustment period. You might notice a slight lisp for the first day or two as your tongue gets used to the trays. However, the more you talk, the faster your mouth adjusts. Most patients find their speech returns to completely normal within 48 hours.
